Passed Scrum Master Certification

This week I scratched something off my bucket list, Scrum Master Certification.  I enrolled in the program and passed their test on the first try.  I will admit the test was hard and thorough.  The next day I ordered the textbooks for another certification Professional Scrum Master PSM-1  from   After that I may look at PSM-1 or go for a third credentialing organization.  Each one has a slightly different slant on Agile and Scrum.  I also was guest speaker at the Boise (Treasure Valley Agile meetup, but more on that later.
Happy Agile learning.

I finished the Scrum book and videos, next step… the exam!

I finished reading all 373 pages of the free Scrum Body of Knowledge (SBOK Guide by  I even read the glossary! (lots of good definitions)
I also bought their Scrum Master Certified course, and have finished watching all their mandatory videos and passed their practice tests.  I realize they have over a hundred other videos, but let’s get real, I need to take the test to earn the letters behind my name.

Yes, it was interesting and educational, and took longer than I thought.
